The numerals that gave the world mathematics deserve a place on the dial.
Ramlah was founded in Rotterdam in 2024 by Jaber, with a single conviction — that the script your heritage is written in belongs on the object you look at most.
Ramlah — from raml, the Arabic word for sand.
Sand fills the hourglass; the hourglass measures time. Our name carries that lineage — a quiet reminder that time moves, and that how you spend it is what matters.
It is why an hourglass hides inside the R of our monogram.
Most “Arabic numeral” watches aren’t.
The digits on nearly every watch dial — 1, 2, 3 — are Western. Ramlah dials carry the true Eastern Arabic script: ١ ٢ ٣ ٤ ٥ ٦ ٧ ٨ ٩.
A watch is one of the few things you wear and look at every single day. When the numbers looking back at you are written in the script of your heritage, that everyday glance becomes quietly personal.
Considered, not mass-produced.
Every Ramlah is designed in Rotterdam, built around a reliable quartz movement, finished in stainless steel, and shipped from the Netherlands.
We chose to begin with one design, done properly — Al Awaal, “The First.” The next chapter is already on the bench.
Choosing a watch is personal. Here is what sets ours apart.
- Authenticity Genuine Eastern Arabic numerals (٠–٩) — not the Western digits most “Arabic numeral” watches actually use.
- Considered design A 41 mm case with a clean dial and a stainless steel band — as at home with a suit as with a t-shirt.
- Honest specifications Quartz precision, luminous hands, 3 ATM water resistance. We tell you exactly what you are buying.
- An honest price €110 including VAT, with free shipping in the Netherlands and Belgium. Heritage should not carry a luxury markup.
We are a young brand, and it shows: every order counts. Each Ramlah is checked by hand, packed in its gift box, and shipped from the Netherlands — with a one-year warranty and fourteen days to change your mind.
Questions before or after you order? You reach the people behind the brand directly, by email or WhatsApp. No call centre.
